Hi, I'm Joanne - and dogs are truly my life.​

Pawsitive Retreat was born from a simple truth:

Our pups deserve a safe, loving place where they can relax, play, and feel at home.​

Dogs have always been my passion, and in 2020 I began fostering pups in need of love and care.

To date, 17 dogs have blessed my foster dog mom heart.

I adopted my own little pack: Winston, Zoey & Coco. Yes, I am a proud foster failure! They've filled my world with joy, laughter, and lots of cuddles, and they continue to inspire the loving environment I've created here at Pawsitive Retreat!​​

My aspirations include expanding my canine expertise to become a certified dog obedience trainer and developing Pawsitive Retreat into your go-to canine getaway, all while supporting the dog rescue mission.
