Fostering Saves Lives

I don’t even think it was a full week after I said goodbye to Luke that I flung myself into fostering. The house just felt so eerie, quiet and incomplete. I knew I would end up with another dog in my adult life, but I was in no way to make a commitment to one yet.  So, my birth of foster dog mom began.

To this day, everyone says… “how can you foster, it must be so hard?” I mean, yes some of them are hard to say goodbye to. I have no problem admitting I have indeed cried saying farewell to many. But I with 1000 % certainty can tell you it is the most rewarding title I have ever owned.

If you have ever thought about it, I encourage you to look into it and seriously consider it.
